Guide Part 2: CTF (Current TimeFrame) and InfoLine

The Current TimeFrame is essentially the timeframe you are viewing on the chart.

There are different types of traders - some prefer to look at charts with weekly candles, others with daily candles, and there are those who prefer 1H, 30m, 15m, and even smaller timeframes. The good news is that the InfoLine and Smart Money Concept draw the market structure on every timeframe. However, it's important to note that on very small timeframes (seconds, 1m, 3m, 5m), volatility is often higher, and there may be more "false breakouts." Some traders liken the movements on very small timeframes to a "unique universe."

The InfoLine and Smart Money Concept indicator draw the significant Order Blocks and Breaker Blocks on the current timeframe (CTF). Novice traders should be aware that this is the foundation they will use when trading with the indicator. These are the zones where they will place their orders.

There are Bullish Order Blocks (Bullish OB), Bearish Order Blocks (Bearish OB), Bullish Breaker Blocks (Bullish BB), and Bearish Breaker Blocks (Bearish BB). By default, the indicator uses green for Bullish blocks and red for Bearish blocks. In the middle of each Order Block and Breaker Block is the so-called InfoLine - a dotted line using the color of the block. InfoLine is an essential element of the indicator that we plan to develop further in the future.

For novice traders: Keep in mind that a Breaker Block is essentially a "broken" Order Block. In fact, that's where its name comes from. Consequently, the indicator changes color. It follows the same rule you've probably heard before: "once broken, support turns into resistance and vice versa."

Important Note! Here's an extremely useful tip. Order Blocks and Breaker Blocks are often quite old in terms of time. As mentioned earlier, we recommend giving more importance to Breaker Blocks. To easily recognize an Order Block from a Breaker Block, we have added the following rule: Order Block zones end at the current candle, while Breaker Block zones are shifted one candle to the right (to the next candle).

Note: Not every Order Block or Breaker Block will reverse the direction of movement. It is not necessary. Sometimes, a small reaction or even just a slowdown in movement may be enough. The reaction at these levels could provide you with enough information to make a trading decision, whether to stay in a trade or exit.
